I miss home.
Called Xsummerskies last night. The ASEAN Scholarship placement tests were easy. IQ and English, a breeze, she claimed. Maths was tough but she seemed optimistic. Really hope she can make it here. That would leave mum and dad alone but they need'nt worry much. I need'nt worry much.

She's spoiled.

Shrug. That was what I observed when I went home for a 3 week sabbatical.

Summary:

Went to Ipoh 'straight' from S'pore. Find cousin bro who just graduated. Spent alot on food!
Kikshou came with some beers.
Kok Weng joined us for some L4D-ing.
After 5,6 days, Ipoh is just too bored. I cant live here. sorry Ipoh girls...
Kevin bro fetch me back to KL at a constant 115km/h. Reached in 1.5hours. Awesome!
Glad to get to know my mami's bf more ^^

Xsummerskies were condemming my return to home. She's having mid-year examinations.
I stayed at home for almost a week reading Jodi Picoult and catching up One Tree Hill, GG and torrenting. The occasional nights out were spent at Station 1, the only cafe that opens till morning.

Lailai came back from Bali and we hung out at 1u. Gege was busy studying for her ACCAs. She was hyping when she heard MOS but pulled out last minute with a staunch stand on her studying and no distraction policy. My foot... if all her initial excitement were anything to go by...

Caught up with Joanne. Nice hair^^

Went Ice-skating with Okasan, Tantan, Liying. Okasan was terrified. Worse than chicken. But at least she can skate now...I think. Ogling at the Nike Bauer Skates. Can't afford. Sad. Miss the feeling of wind and speed around the ring. Wished I could improve my skills but Fuji Ice Palace is one heck of an expensive place to play the sports in S'pore.

Met with Kityee and beau afterwards. Lovey-dovey.HK got some probs with gf. (sigh)
TanTan passed me Twilight and I was hooked.

HK demanded some time off. I have been distracting him from studies and 'other' duties since my arrival, he claimed. I am so not hurt.

Met with MJ. He has been working at PWC. Auditor. "The earliest he reaches home is midnight. 2,4 am is a norm." His bro said. He's usually a skeleton. Tall frame and little meat. Now he is *shrug* how do you define that?! Gosh..

29th May. Bad day. Results day. D-Day.
Thankfully, Aunt brought me eat good food.

Was late. Pyramid. Lailai. Final meetup before leaving for Spore.She'll be leaving to study with Aussies. Talk about rational decision, scoffs. Watched Terminator. Awesome! Have to cancel an appointment with Leng2. Very guilty. Didnt get to meet her and also alot of other friends this time back. Bought her an MP3 as leaving present cum birthday present. Been wrapping the tiny mp3 with newspapers all week and the payoff was sweet revenge ^^. It was so much of a joy to see her "hmmphs...grrr..erghs...yarrrr...ouch...etc etc" while tearing off the thick layers of the pressie.I was tempted to put a dead lizard in but I guess the smell would be too much.

Ran into Form6 schoolmates. Have a night out. HK has problems again.

So much for a sabbatical.

PS: Left Msia with a pair of nice white clean Tennis shoe. Thx dear^^
